Abracadabra review

ABRACADABRA
Mike Norman and Dilara Erbay’s newish establishment in the trendy down to earth Istanbul sea side town of Arnuvtkoy fits the so called bill on so many levels for me and my taste preferences that I will have to throw caution to the wind and announce to the readers of this magazine that I have found a restaurant in Istanbul that not only serves fantastic non pretentious food that is both earthy and refined, but also provides an easy going atmosphere and lovely setting. With their down to earth approach and stunning food, Mike and Dilara would be very successful in the ultra trendy Sydney. I have been to some fantastic restaurants in Istanbul over the past few months but Abracadabra without a doubt offers the best food; everything featured on this menu is good enough to make you moan; try the inventive Salmon Ciğ Kofte, the scrumptious corn muffin and spinach pide from the very serious bread basket and the deeply refreshing tamarind and lime soft drink from the Ottoman Empire which Dilara tells me originates from a 500 year old recipe.
